Meet Brian Frye

A little about myself. I grew up in rural Ohio, where most people were inclined to maintain their properties and vehicles on their own. From a young age my father taught me small skills that have come in handy throughout my life.

As an avid golfer and entrepreneur, my path has had plenty of twists and turns — most of them for the good. From owning Domino’s Pizza stores to building swimming pools, I’ve covered quite a range of work and picked up a lot of new skills along the way.

Later in life I was looking for a way to slow down but still supplement my income and support my wife of 15 years and my awesome daughter. So I decided: why not do what I enjoy — tinkering. I set out to build one more small business doing basic handyman tasks and chores.

At this stage I have no desire to take on large remodel projects. I focus on small, simple jobs. I enjoy helping the couple who doesn’t want to deal with these tasks themselves, or doesn’t have the time, or just needs a hand with the basics. After years in restaurants, retail, remodeling, pool service and pool building, I’ve learned that customer service matters more than anything. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Do you do large remodels or additions?

No — and that’s on purpose. I focus on small, simple handyman jobs and repairs. If you need a full remodel or an addition, that’s a different kind of contractor; I’m the person for the everyday fixes.

What areas do you serve?

I’m based in Indio and serve the whole Coachella Valley — Palm Desert, Palm Springs, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Indio and Bermuda Dunes.

How do I get a quote?

Just call. For most jobs I can give you an approximate estimate over the phone. If a job needs a look first, an in-person estimate is a $75 trip charge.
