B Frye The Handy Guy · Serving the Coachella Valley
Interior & Exterior Painting in Coachella Valley, CA
Fresh interior color or sun-faded stucco brought back to life — B Frye preps it right, cuts clean lines and lays down a coat that holds up to the desert.
Prep Is the Job — the Paint Is the Easy Part
Anybody can roll paint on a wall. What separates a job that looks good for a week from one that looks good for years is the prep — filling and sanding, caulking gaps, masking clean, and priming what needs it. B Frye does that part properly, so the color goes on even and the edges stay crisp.
Out here the sun is the enemy. West- and south-facing stucco takes a beating from Coachella Valley UV and chalks out years before the shaded walls do. B Frye can refresh a single faded elevation or repaint the whole exterior, and inside, freshen a room, an accent wall, cabinets or trim without getting paint where it doesn’t belong.
It’s the same person quoting and cutting in the corners — a straight price and tidy work. Serving Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio and the rest of the Valley.

Painting FAQs
Do you paint exterior stucco, or just interiors?
Both. Sun-faded exterior stucco, fascia and trim are a big part of the work out here — B Frye can recoat a single faded elevation or the whole exterior, as well as interior walls, ceilings and trim.
Why does my west-facing wall fade so much faster?
Desert UV. West- and south-facing walls take direct afternoon sun and the paint chalks out years before the shaded sides. Using a coating rated for heat and UV on those walls is what makes the repaint last.
How much does painting cost?
Painting is quoted by the room or elevation rather than a flat rate. Small touch-ups fall under the $129 minimum and $79/hr; full rooms, cabinets and exteriors get a firm per-job quote. An in-person estimate is a $75 trip charge.
Do you prep and prime, or just roll paint on?
Prep is the job. B Frye fills, caulks, sands and masks first, and primes bare spots, stains and big color changes so the finish lays down even and lasts. That prep is why the lines stay crisp.
Can you paint kitchen or bathroom cabinets?
Yes. Cabinets are cleaned, sanded and finished with a hard-wearing coat that stands up to daily use — a big change for a lot less than replacing them.
Will you move furniture and protect my floors?
Yes. Furniture is moved or covered, floors and fixtures are protected, and everything is put back at the end. You get the room back clean, not a job site.
